This is the closest we’ve been to the play-in since the beginning of the season:

    Dallas 33-36
    Phoenix 31-36
    Portland 29-39

    nice block, Tisse!

How can this be true? After game one weren’t we only 1 game out?

Blazers will likely win tonight. So will Phoenix. Memphis @ Sacramento is a toss-up

    then Portland's next 9 games

    Memphis Grizzlies
    Denver Nuggets
    Boston Celtics
    Cleveland Cavaliers
    @ Sacramento Kings
    @ New York Knicks
    @ Atlanta Hawks
    @ Toronto Raptors
    @ Chicago Bulls

I'd think the best Portland would do in that stretch is 3-6. Could easily be 2-7. Although, at this time of the year it's hard to predict which teams will tank a game, ot at least not worry about winning

Memphis is in a battle for HCA with the Lakers; Denver is battling for the 2nd seed; Boston might rest a starter, might not; Cleveland wants the #1 seed. Sacramento won't have their 1st round pick unless it's top-12, so tanking into a pick might not even work with Dallas cratering. The Knicks aren't inclined to lose; Atlanta wants the top seed in the play-in. We know about Toronto's tank-ability; Chicago is 10th seed in the east, but only a game behind Miami for the 9th seed

so, the Blazers might actually face 8 motivated teams in those 9 games.

Play-in is highly unlikely. The next 6 look bad and any Blazer who is questionable should just be listed as out. This late in the season? It’s not even a judgment call to play in a questionable state.

We’re already sitting Ayton, RW, Grant, and Walker. I think if we sat Camara and Avdija, we could lose out. Camara has to play enough games to make All Defense though,

    Blazers 31-39

Gotta sweep these next 3 games if we’re serious. Kings win tonight sucked cuz there is small chance we pass them since we play them and can get the tiebreaker and Sabonis is out. Just depends on how we do on the next three games. Win those and it could lead to an 11 game win streak.

Phoenix is done. Sac on free fall. Kings have tough schedule except games against Wiz and Hornets. We’re playing cupcake schedule. If Kings go 2-5 and we go 7-0, we’re in. Need Suns to win no more than 3 games, one of them a win over the Kings on the final day of the season. We’re basically 25 wins from the championship.

I can still be the world champion in the UFC! If every other person currently in the UFC retires, and they're all replaced with 4 week old kittens, that title is totally mine for the taking!!!

We screwed up long ago. We should be fighting for top 3 draft odds... Oh well... It doesn't matter what happens now.

We're just going to have to hope for lightning to strike twice. Once to get a great pick, and again that we get a great player.

I’m thinking that big win streak cleared all the lightning storms out of our future forecast FAMS!

Bollocks. Build a culture of trying to win each and every game. Half a dozen youngsters with experience working together with a winning attitude outweighs a couple extra ping pong balls, and it isn't even a little close.

It's the wrong way to look at it, but you have that opinion. Long term this year fucked us, this is fact.
