Kobe Bryant would make the Blazers the championship favourites for the next four or five years. Without affecting their run after that. So yeah...nice add, if they can. I think Phil Jackson is a fantastic coach, and he'd be an ideal coach if he were enthused to join a team at the start of a run. I suspect, though, that he's currently in the midst of his final job. Slightly more realistic might be Rick Adelman. But if Houston has a great year, he won't be available either.
