I don't move when asleep. I wake up in the exact same position most nights, and have had girlfriends comment about it, so it's not just my perception. If I sleep over 7 hours I start moving, but under that usually still as a painting unless its allergy season.
I can't believe you wasted our time with this post son. The fact that I have to point out how bad it is must be quite embarrassing. You think that Russian would put those numbers up on us? Shit, I could put up 22 and 12 against fucking Great Britain!
Thought it was a little interesting. The majority of T-wolf fans would still want Batum over AK47. If you go read Oregonlive's Blazer forum the majority of them now want AK47 over Batum, lol.
I think for age alone you take Batum over AK47. Not to mention that both the Wolves and Blazers have an All Star at their 4. Batum is more of a 3 than AK. Batum did look passive against the US, but like I said in an earlier thread nobody ever looks good on the Washington Generals.
There will ALWAYS be a convenient excuse for Batum's mediocre play. In Portland it was supposedly Nate's offense. Now it's standing around at the opening ceremonies? There's zero accountability with this guy.
I just caught a quarter of Lithuania vs. France, and Batum looks great. As soon as I tuned in, he had several great scoring plays, and on two separate occassions that I can remember, he initiated the offense, with Parker playing off the ball. I don't think that France has had a single point off the bench though, which is weird because of all the NBA talent they have off the bench. (BTW, does anyone remember Lithuania's Martynas Pocius from Duke? I'm not sure if that many of you follow college hoops, but that's my first love over the NBA, and Pocius had one of the single most disappointing NCAA careers for an international prospect. I remember seeing him in live in high school, at the Nike Hoops Summit in Memphis, and I thought he'd be destined for an NBA career. He posted 20 pts in 25 min against a backcourt that featured Lou Williams, Monta Ellis, Brandon Rush, and well, Martell Webster. Pocius was very athletic with great scoring instincts, so I figured Duke could piece the rest together for him, but he never cracked Duke's rotation. In his best season, he posted 4 ppg and 2 rpg in 8 mpg. He seems to have found a groove in international play though and is currently scoring at will against France.)
Batum just got fouled hard, hit the ground, and didn't move for about a minute. The environment became tense, as Batum's body language seemed to indicate a potentially serious injury. However, after a good sulk(/acting job), he got up emphatically, seemingly unharmed, and got boo'ed by the London crowd. Furthermore, the replayed foul was light, and the imapct was moreso caused by his own momentum. Fucking European basketball...
