Seriously? Where the fuck did you get that list? Here's a few you forgot: Kevin Durant (how could you forget the league's leading scorer???) - $17,548,838 Rudy Gay - $16,460,532 Rashard Lewis - $15,052,181 Luol Deng - $13,326,700 Danny Granger - $13,058,606 Throw in the four you mentioned, and Batum is the 9th highest paid small forward in the league. So he's the 9th best and the 9th highest paid. Please explain how that equates to "top paid for mediocre production". And, he's the youngest on that list. Batum's salary actually drops to $10,920,250 next season. Other than Rashard Lewis, everyone else on that list sees a sizable salary increase next season. Richard Jefferson ($11,046,000) will also make more that Batum next season. So, not even counting any free agent signings this summer, Batum will be, at most, the 9th highest paid small forward in the league next season - and again younger than everyone making more than him. At most, he's paid fair market value compared to his peers. Given his young age, potential for improvement, and decreasing nature of his contract, he will most likely be considered a bargain for the last three seasons of his contract. When you post a list highly paid small forwards and leave off Kevin Durant, one has to question your motives, or at least the accuracy of anything you post. BNM
