Mills is a true PG? Um, so is Andre. And that isn't exactly working out too great. Thus, we aren't looking for a true PG, and Bayless is really the guy we need to play besides Roy, because he can create his own shot, shoot the three, and draw fouls. And he's at least better than Blake at passing.
Bayless has the fire, tenacity and will to win at a costs type of demeanor that a lot of the other Blazers don't have. Mental toughness. It's refreshing to see some killer instinct on the floor for our team. Hopefully his performance tonight translates into more trust and minutes from the coaches. Go well young Bayless!
Mills is an open court player who's best weapon is his pull up jumper. I watched him torch my Zags many o times in conference play.
Speed kills in the NBA, Bayless is showing that with his great first step and ability to go to the rim AND mix it up with jumpers - lethal combo. Watching Miller and Blake is like watching a game in Slow-mo and the Andre-Roy combo is really starting to gel. If Mills can hit the jumper as well, with his outstanding speed, a Roy/Rudy/Bayless and eventually Mills combo COULD be deadly. No the BIG Q is can McMillan coach that type of combo?
Just thought I'd quote myself a day after the "Bayless Coming Out Party" against the Suns!~ LOL Way to go Bayless > Playless!!
