Re: BBW member posting! Actaully the whole evolution thing is a theory. Charles Darwin's theory of evolution is just that, a theory. There is no hard evidence that makes it a fact. Now, you do have to split his theory into two separate parts. The theory that animals and plants evolve over time also known as "Survival of the fittest" and the whole humans evolved from chimps. You'd have to be just an idiot or totally ignorant to not believe that animals evlove over time, that the strongest always wins, etc. The whole other Evolution vs. Creation is a separte thing to me. That is still up to debate and niether has been able to outprove the other. I being a Christian believe in Creation, but have no problem with people who believe in Evolution. Now I havent read where Austingriz and Pest were arguing over the two, but thats what I think.
Re: BBW member posting! Evolution is only a theory in the sense that we don't know if humans evolved from single-celled organisms or were created. It is fact in the sense that we know populations of plants and animals can evolve into populations with different genetic and observable characteristics.And calling evolution a theory doesn't really discredit it, since there are no scientific tests to credit or discredit intelligent design (which means it isn't even a theory).
