I love Josh Hart. Bradley Beal is much better. Beal has always been willing to share the ball. He played alongside John Wall and Russell Westbrook. If Beal can flourish with those guys, he can flourish with Dame.

1 obviously. Collect stars at any position. Or draft Sam Bowie instead of Michael Jordan.

I remember people said Chris Paul and James Harden wouldn't work. They ended up going 65-17 and were one win away from the NBA Finals. Get star players at any position and then work it out.

I'll say this....I'd trade Ant for Beal but don't think Beal's agent would even answer the phone on that one.

I get that point. Is Beal Jordan? Or let me ask this…
If you were Chicago and had Jordan, would you draft Drexler? Because that is the better analogy. Dame is the Alpha in this. Not Beal.

I would also like to point out we arent “drafting Beal” he comes with a buge conteCt and little to no upside.

I am sorry but I believe this is comparing apples to oranges bringing drexler and jordan up as a debating point, and not really relevant to the discussion?

    Those are solid rebuttals!
I do not honestly have a realistic one. I would prefer to go after a player like Jimmy Butler and I did put together a somewhat realistic three team trade package, but I concede. I see what you say about getting the assets and shuffling them being easier than swinging for the fences.

You all have convinced me this could have an upside. Id still rather see us look in other places for assets, but if the price is right? I can be for it.
Good debating Mr. Tince. You, primarily convinced me.

I, like you, would prefer Jimmy Butler right now instead of Beal, for all the reasons you have previously listed.

You nailed it... the price has to be right to where the value is so much greater that the redunancy can be swallowed in the short term.

I don't think there is any real incentive for LaVine to opt out of $50m to come to Portland, nor do I see us being able to provide a package Washington is willing to take where we are getting the value we would need.

This will be unpopular, but I would be shocked if Ant ever ends up being as good as Beal, so a trade with those two as the main trade chips is something I think makes logical sense. Feels like it would be a trade where both fan bases would be uspet.

I think the difference is acknowledging Beal is in a revolving door, not part of the end goal?

I think anyone who would turn down a 28 yeal old all-star after watching this team go 7 years trying to win with one all-star would be crazy.

I'd rather try to win with Beal and flip him if it doesn't work, than try to win with Kent Bazemore and Mario Hezjona and have to flip them to get better. If the price is right, you take Beal in .2 seconds.
