The Chicago Bears' defensive-line depth took another hit Monday when veteran end Turk McBride was lost for the season to a ruptured Achilles tendon but the injury news could have been worse. The Bears got a scare when Jermon Bushrod their biggest free-agency addition left practice early with what turned out to be only a mild calf strain. Although his status is day-to-day he was later seen entering the dining room wearing a walking boot. "It's nothing crazy" said Bushrod calling the boot precautionary. Bushrod the two-time Pro Bowl left tackle signed to help revamp the offensive line came out after one brief team period with a bag of ice taped to the back of his right leg. He was replaced for the next period by Jonathan Scott. McBride will be missed on a defensive line that earlier lost end Sedrick Ellis who announced his retirement. Former Falcons defensive end Jamaal Anderson was signed to replace Ellis. - See more at: http://www.chicagotribune.com/sport...bushrod-chicago-bears-20130729,0,155168.story
