Tough to lose the QB and the best running back so early in the game. 17 points isn't much of a cushion, but the D has been solid.
Alie isn't incapable of throwing the ball downfield, just setting him up to fail running this vanilla offense.
Taylor Alie, what a piece of shit. Why is he even on the team? The Ducks are sure great at finding horrendous backup QBs who can't throw the ball past the line of scrimmage without throwing an interception. I"m having flashbacks to the Fiesta Bowl debacle when the Ducks were dominating till Jeff Lockie came in and put up a performance so bad that Walt Disney is making a moving out of it.
The Ducks DL is crazy good this year! Jim Levitt must be a coaching God, because he's taken a unit that was totally horrendous and made them a strength.
Fell off badly from 2015 when they were playing for the national championship? They were controlling the game on both ends till they lost their starting QB and RB (not to mention their #1 WR is out)....that tends to hurt a team.
Jim Levitt should be the head coach really. Some team is going to nab him, and I'd much rather have him than Taggart.
I take it you didn't watch the Beaver game. That was Washington's entire strategy in the 2nd half. Throw it near a Beaver, they'll fuck it up.
