I don't know if anything is wrong with him. The reports of him being a good recruiter seem to be bearing out, which is huge. But I give the credit of this massive defensive turn around to Jim Levitt. If you have a coach that can make that much of a massive difference, on either end of the ball, just by his coaching alone, it's priceless.
After a 8 year losing streak. That was a big embarassment, even for a 4 win Duck team. The Beavers getting destroyed by Colorado St Rams, Portland St. and the Vikings (at home.) They're a disgrace to the Pac 12.

The Beavs and Ducks arguing over football this year reminds me of the movie Support Your Local Gunfighter. Jake Elam is trying to prove to James Garner, a cardshark, that he actually has a chance as a gunfighter. "Alright draw." (Garner quickly pulls gun out before Elam can move.) "Jud.... I'm slow. But you're the slowest."

I love the shit-talking. The fact that Ducks fans are even pausing to talk shit about the Beavs shows just how far the Ducks have fallen, and so quickly. And the Ducks season is probably about to go in the toilet, which makes it even funnier.

The Beavers are maybe the worst P5 team out there. Even with injuries, the Ducks still win probably 2 out of the next five as Mora is terrible and Utah has no offense outside of Carrington. But the Beavers have literally no win if they don't make a last second drive against Portland State. Anderson doesn't have a single road win in his career at OSU. I don't know what his buyout is but they should be hoping they can meet it in a year or so.

It's true that the Ducks are no longer competing for a national championship, now we are merely a good pac 12 team. I suppose that gives you some kind of pleasure. It must give you more pleasure then seeing your Division II quality team try to complete in Division 1.
I will say one thing. I still have a TON of respect for Mike Riley. To pull off his winning percentage in a place like Corvallis is a real accomplishment. He's not a great recruiter and Nebraska isn't doing him a ton of favors, but to consistently get the Bark Rodents in a Bowl Game was a major accomplishment.
