It was a he said/ she said case and the kid was 15 and took the plea to avoid a harsher penalty. He denies he did it and it has never been proven that he did. I know a kid that turned 18 by a week, had consensual sex with his girlfriend 2 weeks before she turned 17 and the parents of the girl turned the boy in for sexual assault as they were out to get him and used the loophole in the law to have him arrested and it was because of a couple weeks where he was 18 and she was 16. The kid now has to register as a sez offender. It just shows how that it's not always as black and white as one thinks.
Anything is a mistake if you truly repent and are a changed person. ANYTHING I once worked with a technician at Tektronix who was a part time minister. He worked with ex cons teaching them a work trade. You know, carpentry, plumbing, mechanics, electrical installation, etc. I'm sure some of these guys regressed but you should have heard the success stories. Those success stories warmed the heart. I once had a government security interview because when I filled out the application, I noted how I had once smoked weed. When the very tough interview was done I asked the interviewer what he thought of my chances of getting the security clearance. He said "You should have thought about that before you committed a felony." I leaned over the Credenza desk, pointed my finger at him and said in an angry voice "Everyone m No one is throwing away any moral compass. But to hate someone literally forever is just wrong in my book, unless that person doesn't change and repent.
I don’t hate the kid. I just choose to believe the little girl that had no reason to lie about saying her uncle molested her, and with such detail. There’s obviously problems within the legal system and a lot of gray area in this case in particular, but the thing that doesn’t change is that little girl still said that she was molested and I think it’s telling that BOTH her parents believed her.
What? Your post? Football games are always posted here and I hate football...but I love baseball! Pat Casey is a legend! Go Beavs!
Congrats to the Beavers on winning their opening game of the Super Regionals. One more win for a trip to Omaha.
Did the Beavs finish the game today with Washington.?..they were down a run and had a lightening delay when the game was on at work
It got delayed for like 4 hours, but they bounced back after and won 14-5! The NC vs. Miss State game got delayed to tomorrow.
