The heat Carson is taking over West Point is weird. I think the media is totally wrong to go at him over this. No, West Point doesn't offer Scholarships. You must be Appointed to West Point but that doesn't happen like magic, West Point recruits people to accept appointment. My daughter receive one of those recruitment offers, and it sure seemed like the appointment would follow closely if she replied and accepted their offer. Perhaps Dr. Carson didn't say it quite right, but I sure don't think he was telling a fib. Anyway, I still will vote for the Donald.
Yep, they are making a mountain out of an ant hill. What I think is funny is how he's getting the heat Trump has gotten since day 1 and he's flipping his lid. I couldn't imagine the collapse he would have if he had the same treatment.
He's getting the heat that every leading candidate gets. He only thinks he's being singled out because he doesn't know what he's doing and neither do his advisors. barfo
I'd kind a hate to see how rattled he would get over someone talking big to him. Nice guy, but maybe not this job.
The other comment to make here is that Carson's backstory actually matters more than other candidates because that's all there is to him. He has zero track record of relevant accomplishments. He's never run anything other than an operating room, and the presidency has nothing to do with surgery. He thinks that his personal story, and literally only that, qualifies him to be president. Therefore he, of all the candidates, should have been expecting a close examination of his personal story. The fact that he was unprepared for that is not a good sign. barfo
Ah, too damn funny not to post. My guess as to what happened: Literal-minded Ben read the parody, went to the fake test, got laughed at, and reinvented the whole scene to make himself the hero rather than the butt of the joke. "Most honest student" indeed! barfo
