Gordon goes 6-18 (well, 33% or worse) ten times in 45 games.

He went 12-21 against Dallas (good competition), 9-16 against the Spurs, 8-16 against Detroit, 10-22 against Atlanta, 7-13 against Cleveland, 9-15 against the Spurs, 6-11 against Atlanta, 8-14 against Phoenix, 7-13 against New Orleans, and 9-18 against Dallas.

    His 33% games? Boston (3-10), Memphis (3-10), Indiana (6-19), Lakers (6-22), 76ers (6-18), Knicks (6-18), Minnesota (7-21), Toronto (4-13), Cleveland (2-6), Knicks (3-15), Clippers (4-12).

He "usually" throws up 6-18 against good teams, eh? Of those 33% games, only the Celtics, Lakers, and Cavs are more than 1 game over .500. Yet in the first list, all those teams are well above .500.

Seems to me the facts show he "usually" scores and shoots big against teams with > .500 records (12 times), but throws up 33% shooting nights against losing teams (8 of 11 times).

You misread it. He's taken out by good defensive teams, not good teams. But good work looking stuff up, that's a big improvement. Dallas isn't a good defensive team, they are middle of the pack and we know Phoenix isn't. And when did BG make those shots? Some of those "good" games were blowouts were BG did his late game garbage time thing, too like one of those Cav games. Watch the games, don't regurgitate the box score to me. That's the whole problem, people see 20 points / game the next day and think BG is a great player. "We'll he scored 28 points, it must be the other guys...." They don't see that he was pulled 3 minutes into the game because he was getting beaten repeatedly.

I don't find your argument convincing. You see what you want to see, which is biased. Fine.

The stats say that he couldn't possibly be scoring all his points after the games are decided.

And the Spurs are a pretty good defensive team. As are the Hornets, Pistons, Hawks, and yes the Mavericks (top half of the league in fewest PPG against at a pretty high pace)

If I'm biased and see what I want to see, then you are listening to the game on radio or something. Dallas is 16th in Def Eff, so not even technically in the top half anymore.

Wow, big shot by Gordon tonight.

Yah, I think he's pretty good. Big win for the Bulls.
