How about a sign and trade of Daniels for Evans? If not that stay with Denver and do Daniels for Najera(I bet they would love to get him back) and Kleiza(filler). Helps out both teams. Then they can use their full MLE on James.
I would do either of those, if we do get James. It would fill our backup role, and also give Daniels a situation where he can thrive in.
Per Galloway, the guy who broke Terry's deal, is saying James is a done deal, although I don't hear it from any other site. So take it for what it's worth. I can't quote anything because it's a radio show in Dallas and other Mavs boards are reporting it. If true, I'm excited and I hope we turn out attention to what were doing with Daniels and what kind of offers we get for him.
Well it would be a huge blow to Harris and Daniels was pretty much taken out of the role anyways. Ager will also most likely not get many or any minutes. I don't think this is true in that Mike James probably is going to the rockets.
If Mike James came here it's not really going to completely diminish Harris's role. If anything it'll allow him to play a little less and mature into a starter over the course of the year. Daniels hasn't fit in here ever since Avery's been the coach, so it's not like James would affect that. And Ager's probably not going to get many minutes anyway, although there are always injuries and such and he could overtake Griff (if we resign him) during the season.
