    DAMNIT !

Now if the Yanx really want Bryan Reynolds, Pittsburgh will really fleece our farm.

He got a good deal. 5 years and $75 million. Conforto might be a better idea than overpaying for Reynolds.

Conforto would fit right in..another 125 strikeouts a season

Conforto signs a 2 years deal with Frisco.
Frisco is the consummate Loser in the 2022/23 Free Agent Sweepstakes.

Word has it they're going to activate Barry Balco Bonds and Will the Thrill Clark.

Reynolds will be relatively cheap for the first 3 years and won't become arby eligible until 2026...so when you say "overpaying", I assume you mean by giving up to much via our prospects.

Personally, while I like some of our youngster on the farm, we're loaded at SS so 2 or 3 of them won't have a spot on the Yanx roster anyway. So if it means giving up prospects that won't likely make the ML roster anyway, I say move them if it means getting a switch hitter like the caliber of Reynolds, although he does strikeout at a higher rate than I'd prefer...then again, I think Cabrera might work out OK in LF.

...still gotta also get rid of Donaldson and/or Hicks.

    good morning,
just chiming in on the prospects issue...from what I read they are thinking of moving Volpe to second base as their are concerns of his defense.

It wouldn't be the worst thing to see what the kids can do and then save moves until later in the season.
