At the caucus in Bellingham it was about 99% Bernie, 1% Hillary. Like all Democratic pledged delegates, the local Congressman stonewalled the people and voted for Hillary.

Nationally, Independents voted for Bernie, but not Hillary. Bernie would have beaten Trump in a landslide. Voters wanted change, any change in any direction. Rebels without a clue.

My grandma got knocked up by and later married an Indian dude in the 30s, of course his family was pretending to be French back then, lol. That's progressive as fuck.

Your grandma's story is that she thought an Indian was a Frenchman? Oui oui!

    News flash!

    Trump won, Bernie didn't.

He did quit the Democratic Party.

When did he join? He didn't. He's a Democrat like the Libertarian Trump is a Republican. The next 4 years will be constant fights between Trump and the Republicans. Maybe the party will grow up and evolve to merge in some new ideas. Probably not.

the newest trend is suspiciously French...if you can't beat them join them...the Libertarians might want to get a major celebrity who actually prepares for the role.....so far, they're in the High School play class.....need to step it up

    Trump is no Libertarian.

You're funny when you're not trying to be.

I've never tried to understand this new fad Libertarianism. It will pass, like Existentialism in the 1970s. It's a useful label for Tweeners like Trump. Like you and your Existentialist Tweenerism.

The individual first. Collectivism only when there's a massive compelling interest.

As little government as we need and nothing more.

A wonderful dream but do you REALLY think either party is EVER going to take their hands out of our pockets? Andrew Jackson is long dead and gone, Donnie be damned......

Any decrease in government power is filled by an increase in employer power. Political system + economic system = a constant K. Conservation of power. Isaac Newton under the apple tree.

No. I don't vote for "either party" for that reason.

Separation of church and state. Separation of economy and state. Separation of corporations and state.

The constant K stuff is nonsense.

So is the illusion that you can minimize the power exerted on you, added up from all sources. The only way is to be a hermit. Try it. You'll like it.

Most of the power exerted on me, by far, is government.

Because the 1% have no boss. Of course you want unlimited freedom at our expense. I understand; I'm selfish sometimes too, but I restrain it when I form my beliefs. Find a system that's best for humanity, not just yourself.

It is best for humanity if I am no drain on everyone else.
