To answer my own question, I guess since half of 2016 Bernie voters are now voting for Biden, maybe Hillary should have chosen Biden as her VP. barfo
Having spent a lot of time in the mid west, even dem's view any politician from the CA. OR. WA. as suspect.
You expect me to remember 4 years ago! What is this nonsense lol. I'm not really sure. Even a pick like EW who had similar policies (IMO) to Bernie I don't know if she would get young people to go out. I think part of the issue here is demographics, Bernie is most popular with the group that turns up the least. I guess the other question, is how many people vote based on a VP pick?
Any strategy that relies on Sanders voters voting in large numbers will fail, as Bernie is currently proving. barfo
I told you it would be on the test. Probably very very few, unless the VP pick is disastrous (see: Palin, Sarah). barfo
Right which would be an argument that picking the most, "dull" VP candidate may be the best strategy, let the person shine who's running for president and don't ruffle any feathers with a VP pick that could cause people to "not" vote.
It should be part of the strategy because some of them vote. Alternatively you could just make sure they dont vote by alienating them.
Let me ask you a question: Do you think if Hillary - someone who literally came within a few thousand votes (my guess ism you voted for her) of becoming our President - were to go on the stump for Biden, would she be of any help to him? Would he appreciate her support?
Well, I didn't vote for Hillary...and I'm not necessarily aligned with the Democratic party...but I can't imagine Democrats wanting anything to do with her because I think she can only do more harm than good.
What did she do (or not do) to put herself in this position? I mean - again - she was that close to becoming our President. Was she not?
Not sure if that's a rhetorical question or you're simply being coy or what...but I'm sure a simple google search would answer your question. But I would imagine there are about as many people who would not vote for her as there are those who would not vote for Trump... and can't stand either.
But, again, half the country voted for her. I would imagine Biden might like some of those votes. I'd guess a large number of potential votes than those who hate(d) Hillary, yet won't vote for Trump combined. At any rate, I certainly wouldn't classify her as being irrelevant.
Sorry, but yes, Hillary is irrelevant...not sure what this obsession you're currently having with her but she's already said she's not endorsing anyone. ...give it a rest.
Awww..c'mon, yankee.....these cats change their collective minds all the time. You should know that. Heh. Besides, speculation abounds in these parts. BTW, FWIW...... https://www.businessinsider.com/hil...biden-jimmy-fallon-election-experience-2020-3
It's pretty hard to imagine a Hillary voter who would vote for Trump over Biden. Biden doesn't need her endorsement to get her voters, and he doesn't want her endorsement because it will just antagonize the Hillary haters. barfo
I have this funny feeling that I have more insight into how Hillary voters think than you do. But I admit that feeling could be incorrect... barfo
