Also the Suns have a pretty good backcourt with Nash and Bell. Hamilton has actually shot a high percentage from 3 PT this year.

I agree with people who are saying that Kidd is the best at finding the open man and that his basketball IQ and leadership are tremendous, and he is a better defender than Nash, but what Nash has done this year in Phoenix is amazing and is definatly deservant of the MVP, in my opinion. I think Kidd is the better all-around, pure PG, but right now, Nash is the better player..<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Rok @ Mar 2 2006, 04:20 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>What's that supposed to mean? There's some bad former Mavericks, and I mean bad.Um, when did Rip become a lights out long range shooter?I think this is a redundant question, Nets, Warriors, Spurs have the top backcourts in the league.</div>Hamilton hasnt been known as a long range assasin over the course of his career, but this year he has absolutely lit it up from behind the arc, shooting around 50% from three..

Marion is playing out of his mind offensively, rebounding, and defense. Also the suns are much deeper now this year than last year. Nash has been great but I think Dirk deserves the MVP. Dirk has lead his team to 45-11. Dirk doesn't have a Marion type player to help him out. The closest thing is Josh Howard but still not quite as good of a second option as Marion.

Both are very efficient shooters long range and mid range.

Hamilton is actually a great three ball shooter, he just doesn't shoot many. The Pistons are the most compatible, but the backcourts with the most talent are....Knicks no doubt. Franchise and Marbury have the most talent.Nets. Kidd and Carter, self explanitoryWarriors. BDiddy and Jrich- no need to explain. No one mentioned Seattle, they have a nice backcourt, Ridnour and Allen.Same with Milwaukee. Micheal Redd and Mo Williams/ TJ Ford. Its not one of the better ones on D, but it is still a great Backcourt.

The Pistons have the best all around backcourt. In terms of excitement, the Heat wins in a blowout. I promise you, you cant blink when both J-will and Wade are out there together, because you will miss a highlight.

Actually from what I've seen from JWill this season, he is about as exciting as the WWE. He isn't that fun to watch. I have to go with Billups and Hamilton, seeing as the consistently put up solid numbers. Kidd and Carter on the other hand are very inconsistent (More Kidd). And are we still comparing Kidd to Nash? Steve Nash is a superioir shooter, puts up better numbers, and is leading his team to a better record in a tougher conference. And can we please get off Jason Kidds defence? Over the past two years, it has been nothing special at all. While I wouldn't say it is as bad as Nash's, it isn't anything to use in order to make Kidd look better.

Yeah, if Steve had the Nets to work with they would be scoring 110 points a game and probably 1st in the West. Nash has obviously been the better leader, he is a more skilled passer and he has been averaging 20 a game, on lights out shooting and quick moves to the rack. Kidd is a savvy veteran, good defender, rebounder and basketball IQ but it just doesnt amount to what Nash is doing this year.
