well I made this post for a reason. See what ya'll cats think about some of these cats that didn't have huge numbers but were invaluable to the team. People dissin' on some of these cats is kinda sad. Oak was the heart of the New York Knicks and a HUGE reason they were successful. Someone said Harper did nothing for Chicago? That is an absolute joke. Harp was a HUGE part of the Bulls and their offense..all these cats were huge for their teams in ways that dont show up on stat sheets...

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Wave:</div><div class="quote_post">Right on man. We're talking about the single greatest frosh.</div> Actually, BN posted an NBA post in here by accident...Okaforever wasn't refering to the Fab Five posts...
you asked for my opinion and I gave it. at any rate he wasn't talkin' bout that...I replied to somethin' else here.
It could have very well been about his Fab. Five posts. This wasn't a trick question. I was wondering who you thought was the single greatest Freshman of all-time, not the best Freshman class of all-time. Also, there's more proof that Michigan didn't recruit illegally than there is against them.
well I stand by what I said. I can't say one player I have to say the whole team....if you don't like it then delete my posts.

Whether or not the Fab Five were given the money by Michigan shouldn't matter much anyway. The fact is that they were paid off by someone. They were illegal players.
no. But I know alot of cats that were recruited by alot of the bigtime universities. Despite what peeps wanna think....all those big time schools,at one time or another, have cheated or went against the rules when recruiting a player.
not uconn.. lol. we're never even the first option.. we're the school all of our players go when somehow their first school screws something up.. like rice w/ okafor, and illinois w/ villanueva.. ;0

I doubt that. I'd like to think of it as Jim Calhoun stealing those players away from the universities that were never expecting someone low enough to take their recruits to come along. Ever since Calhoun has come along in 1986 you've seen tonnes of great players go to UConn. Do you think that Rip Hamilton, Jake Vohskul, Khalid Al-Amin, Caron Butler, and the players now all chose UConn because they love going to college in the northeast with it's great year-round tropical climate and winning tradition?
