I hope not. Too big of a diva to play all 82 games. Not interested.

So we'd have an even better record if we didn't piss away gaes against bad teams ?

Lots of great players rest, Tim Duncan, Lebron. If Kawhi was in Portland I think the amount of people who would be mad he rested a game here and there could be counted by pointer finger. :)

Effectively a 4-way tie for first. Out of the Blazers/Grizzlies/Clippers/Warriors, which team(s) finishes without HCA?

I think our record last year vs playoff teams was pretty bad wasn't it? We beat up on bad teams and benefited from a long win streak that put us in the playoffs.

2.5 games ahead with a million games to go is more than slightly disconcerting for a team that has been as inconsistent as ours.

To be fair there are 27 other fanbases who are probably feeling the same or worse. The Lakers fans are delusional and GS fans are still high from the last few parades... They are also made up of mostly the same people...

That's why I'm living in the moment. I'm happy, but not necessarily confident.

It's nice to be on top of the West for the moment, but that could easily change tonight if the Grizzlies beat the Spurs and the Blazers lose to the Bucks. What's got me pumped is just the fact that the notoriously slow-starting Blazers are out of the gates fast this year and they're doing it during a pretty touch stretch of their schedule. This is likely to make the second half of the season so much less difficult than in the past few seasons.

Spurs and Thunder just need to win and we stay in the top spot. Spurs are ahead in 4th qtr right now.
