That was my opinion when he was first drafted. At this point, I don't see him developing into the distributor that Parker is, but there are definitely some similarities.

Regardless, Jerryd Bayless is Jerryd Bayless, we all know his game, what's the point of making comparisons?

Kind of reminds me of Baron Davis going to the basket - lightning quick, good hops, strong, great body control, can finish with right or left.

Doesn't have the handles B-Diddy does, but (by all accounts) a better work ethic.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
I'm amused by this comment on that site:

"Eric Gordon is more of an outside shooter than JB. Ben Gordon would be closer."

Right...Eric Gordon is known for his outside shooting. Unlike Ben Gordon...

Tony Parker has been my JB comparison, on the high end (his ceiling, basically). A Tony Parker Lite would be okay, too.

This is the funniest thread I've read in years. For those of you laughing at this several years from now, this thread occurred the night that Bayless had one good game. He was motivated by playing in front of his hometown Phoenix on TNT. That was a TV network at the time.

I'm sure you especially enjoyed Boob's post comparing Roy to Jerry West, Bayless to Gail Goodrich, and Przybilla to the 1971-73 Wilt Chamberlain. No one compared Bayless to Michael Jordan, so I'm sorry that the thread doesn't quite list every known star, but it came close.

I say he plays like Baron Davis.

Sorry brother, just skimmed to the bottom. Their styles are similar in my opinion.

You may want to invest in a good reading comprehension course before you start ridiculing others.

The very first line of my post was:

"It's extremely premature after a few good games..."

I didn't say Roy and Bayless ARE West and Goodrich, I said they had the potential to be a similar style duo where the SG is the main distributor and the PG focuses more on his own scoring.

I also didn't compare Pzybilla to Wilt. The comparison of a defensive-minded center that is a great rebounder and capable of averaging 14 PPG was in reference to Greg Oden's potential.

If all you're going to do is ridicule others and not add anything constructive to the discussion, I'd prefer you fuck off.

Can we rename this thread " BoobNoMore's Meltdown, since he hijacked it"?

    :devilwink:

Anyhow, as another poster posted, Vinny "the Microwave" Johnson is a good goal for Bayless.

Like I care what he says.

And stop threatening me with your menacing machine gun avatar or all call my lawyer, the local authorities, the National Guard, the FBI, the CIA, the NSA and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Fire Arms. I won't stand by idly and let you threaten me with small, menacing thumbnail size images. I simply won't tolerate it!

To those of you in the future, rolling on the floor in laughter and getting your white gowns and golden halos dirty, I apologize for the apish behavior, and I assure you that some of us would, after trial and error, fit right in with your society.
