    When I first heard this tune, I was driving in the early am to work. I literally had to pull over, and wept, even though my Dad was still alive, but I did lose my best friend, just a month prior, who was more of a Father figure to me, than my own Dad.....

    Great Great Tune Rick, as good and moving, heartfelt as it comes......it still has as much feeling now as it did then. I didn't hesitate to buy the LP with this tune on it, that same day on the way home from work. Latter I'd buy Paul Carrack's Greatest Hits, and no Carrack LP would be a greatest of, without this Iconic Song....
