New York has the greatest fans ever, BY FAR. LA is a great basketball city though, you got two NBA teams and between the Lakers and the UCLA Bruins: 25 Championships

Not much fans there are cheering. I think Kings, Pistons and Knicks have a good fan base. Their fans are loud and possibly one of the loudest in the NBA. Honourable mentions are Raptors, Celtics and Spurs.</div>lol, are you kidding me? I've been going to Mavs games even before we played at the AAC in the Reunion Arena and there is never a quiet moment. All ways chanting of defense or MVP or Let's Go Mavs! And I'm sure every Mavs fan on this board can tell you the same.IMO Boston has the best NBA City, even during that awful losing streak those seats were filled and all the fans acted as if there was no losing streak, great bunch of fans there.

Gotta say Boston and New York. Boston has some of the most loyal fans, and has stuck by it's team through these difficult times, especially since all of our teams have suffered from bad injuries, not just the Celtics. Boston also has the history on its side. New York because its the Big Apple of course, so it's always in the spotlight, and as Nate Robinson said, the Garden is the best and most well known arena in basketball.

Dallas shouldn't be on this list, but for those who say Dallas is quiet and the fans aren't into it, y'all are completely crazy, just go to a Mavs game and see for yourself. Boston has to be no. 1Sacramento used to be one of the loudest cities in the NBA and everyone said it was so hard for a visiting team to play there because the fans were always so into it.
