Oh God, I forgot Hamms. When I first turned 21 my very first alcoholic purchase was a bottle of Olde English 800. Hey, I was young and very very stupid.
Buddies and I used to make brass monkeys with 40's of Olde English. Young and stupid is chugging a bottle of Boone's Farm. Worst hangover ever.
Locations could vary on their supplies, so I can see how a franchised joint like Marco's might be hit or miss. As far as I know (and have been told), the Charleston metro area here is literally their hottest market so that probably accounts for some of the taste difference. Also depends on how good store management is, obviously.
Were you listening to rap music at the time? Rap guided some of my alcoholic purchases back in the day.
Yeah, but at least Rainier used to have pretty good commercials. Olympia had the best commercials ever.
I used to live in Brooklyn, the only real good pizza I used to like in Portland was escape from New York on nw 23rd. Hot lips was ok as well, but the only thing that was proper new New York style, was on 23rd Chicago style pizza is nice if you like a casserole. It's not a pizza however, you will not find anything like it in Italy. It's basically old school fusion food and has a place, but technically, I do not think of it as pizza
No Italian food is lke the pizza we serve here. Italian pizza sucks. Escape from NY Pizza on NW 23rd was great. Loved their pizza. Are they out of business now?
