duncan vs the admiral. december 25th, 1999 <-- D-Day 4 b-ball. Duncan dropped in 52 pts and the admiral had 53 pts in a triple overtime classic. Duncan took a fadeaway over robinson and hit it w/ 2.2 secs remaining and then the admiral recieved an alley hoop from bowen who was inbounding the ball and slammed it over duncan.
final score: spurs 132 spurs 133, what a game..man i must be pretty high to write this crap<-- j/k. You are all officially more stupid for reading this crap..yup tim duncan vs david robinson best rivalry ever...

My favorite is the Kobe/T-Mac rivalry. That is, of the current ongoing rivalrys. But i'm biased. "Kobe Krazy", I think that says enough... wtf...

There ain't no rivalries, we can discuss good matchups though, or what can be good rivalries.

Kobe v.s. T-mac: can be a great matchup, both have same type of game.
    Marbury v.s. AI: Crossover madness
KG v.s. Jermaine: Best in the west, beast of the east
PPl say LeBron and Melo is a rivalry...dumb dumb dumb...no rivalry YET

THE NBA NEEDS MORE RIVALS NOW

Yeah, people just want to start something between them to add drama to basketball. They should jsut stop, these too seem to get along.

    Here's the funniest rivalry:

    Rodman vs. Malone

Remember the wrestling match between them like 6 years ago? and Rodman wanted to be on the Kings so he can kick Malone's @ss when Malone just joined the lakers... Funny Stuff!

Shaq vs. Yao for me. I wish that Melo and LeBron would play each other more often, so it could evolve into a great rivalry. Even if they didnt think they were rivals, the Media would deffintally make it seem like it.

I tell ya'll a funny rivalry...Charles Oakley and Tyrone Hill. Ty dropped a bunch of dough in a golf game to Oak and then refused to pay. Oak put Ty on his hitlist ever since. During the games you could hear and see Oak jawin' endlessly at Hill.

Vince Carter and T-Mac's Rivrly is the biggest one because they bring out the best in one another and because of their history (old teammates, distant cousins, close friends), especially when they play in Toronto because t-mac always gets booed and also brings out the best in him.

i think one of the understated rivalries is KG and TD. Duncan can have 25 rebounds then garnett will have 30. To me this is a great rivalry because they are both the top running MVP candidates.

yeah any rivalry involving the Kings and Lakers is pretty entertaining. I thought some of Shaq's comments were funny too like about Rick Adelman and MMike Bibby, but incredibly immature. Oh well. I need to find them. He said some funyn things when he was on Jay Leno too, I remember.

I think T-Mac vs Lebron is a growing rivalry since T-mac ran his mouth again that is gonna stick in the back of Lebrons head whenever the Cavs play the Magic.

The best rivalry in the history of the NBA is Bill Russel vs. Wilt Chamberlain. There have been many great rivalries in NBA history, but this one of the best of them all, bar none.
