Best rapper in the game right now?

    Without a doubt, Nas.

Any of ya'll heard the new Nas tribute song by KRS-ONE?

I used to be huge into Saul Williams, but then the guy started advocating an All-Black America and really crazy **** like that. I'm not racist (I'm white but my grandmama is black and my mom's a card-carrying Native American, so no one pull the race card), but that **** is just ridiculous. It really changed the way I interpretted his lyrics.

By the way, wtf is wrong with Bone Thugs?

I love Bone Thugs-N-Harmony. The way they spit is awesome, and the beats are top notch. They can make an anti-cop song (No Surrender), a tribute song to Eazy-E who discovered and signed them (Crossroads), and they can rap about how it goes down in their city/hood (East 1999). Overall, I'm down for listening to Bone Thugs anytime.

Yeah, but why do so many people hate them?

    yeah it's dope

Saul Williams = a good poet, but not someone who I want to listen to over a beat

Bone Thugs = great over a decade ago, I used to be a Bone fanatic growing up, but now they're just not that good.

Yea if we're talking about the best right now, Bone Thugz shouldn't even be mentioned.

I listened to Amethyst Rock Star and, for me, Saul Williams is kind of hit or miss. I usually don't like the spoken word type of rap, but he's not that bad. Some songs are great (Penny for a Thought, Coded Language), while some are just so unfocused and random (Fearless).

Tech N9ne is absolutely great imo.

His album "Absolute Power" is pretty sick.

I mean, I like it. It's all about taste.

I can't believe that people actually think Chamillionaire is actually a good rapper he sounds like he's moaning when he raps. Fair enough I haven't listened to his album properly but what is he really saying, has he got anything on Nas, GFK or Common, no.

    Thank you for that

Though I would add some others to that list:

GZA, Killah Priest, more WU, Mos Def, Lupe Fiasco more can't think of right now

Mos and Talib haven't put out anything as good as since Blackstar, Reflection Eternal and Black on Both sides, they still good though

Well then obviously you're not in a position to judge.

I don't need you to give a rating. I was just stating that it's ignorant to judge someone without listening to them properly. For example, that's like watching a basketball player play two games and then judging their ability. You simply cannot do that as your judgement is based on a small sample. It's just like judging a person on what you have heard about them. Would you listen to Method Man's "Tical 0: The Prequel" and then have the ability to say he sucks as a rapper?

Ok I recognise this pardon me, maybe someone can give me specific reasons or albums to listen to by chamillionaire then I can come to a judgement that Chamillionaire is or is not the "best rapper in the game right now". Then perhaps you will be happy because I will no longer make ignorant comments.
