^^ The big name players there were out of their prime pretty much...Payton was out of his prime but still pretty goodMalone was completely out of his prime..I think he retired after that seasonit wasn't like they had Malone when he was averaging 28-11ish
How about the 05' Suns?Their starting lineup....PG: Steve NashSG: Joe JohnsonSF: Quentin RichardsonPF: Shawn MarionC: Amare StoudemireThat is a crazy good starting lineup....

I don't know how the hell that team didn't win. Just flat out scary.</div>I must disagree with you...that team wasn't that great...they had no depth and horrible chemistryAlso, Elgin Baylor was a shell of his former self by the time Wilt got to LAin 1969 they had an incompetent coachin 1970 Wilt was out most of the year, and wasn't full strength in the playoffsin 1971 Elgin Baylor barely played and Jerry West missed the playoffsin 1972 Elgin Baylor retired 9 games into the season (and the team won the title, finally)
my picks:1968 76ers (would have won if Billy Cunningham wasn't out for the Conference Finals...the 1967 Philadelphia team is arguably the greatest ever)1989 Lakers (had steamrolled through playoffs until Magic and Byron Scott got injured)1977 76ers (extremely talented, but had bad chemistry)1981 76ers (they lost 3 games in the conference finals to the Celtics by a total of 4 points)1984 Lakers (gave away many games in the Finals)1987 Celtics (their injuries caught up with them in the end)1972 Bucks (if Oscar Robertson didn't get hurt, who knows)

Pistons last year - They looked unstoppableRockets next few years after their 2 championships- Barkley and Olajuwon, wowBulls in 1994, the year after the first 3peat- They went 55-27 with Scottie leading the way.Heat when they were lead by Zo- Also victim of Bulls

I think the Seattle Sonics were a really good team. I mean they almost won 60 games that year in 1996 but its unfortunate for the Michael Jordan happen to be in the league that year. Also how about the Jazz in 97 when they were 64-18..
