Kevin Harlem "Oo Right between the eyes" "Throws down the sledge Hammer"

Snapper Jones & Bill Walton duo was the greatest to me. I like how Snapper Jones would put Walton in check. Walton makes me laugh, he doesn't irritate me like most of us.

Marv Albert, Czar, and Steve Kerr are also a great duo. They compliment eachother well with all their sarcastic remarks.

^ Chungster, You have to have somewhat if not a lot of knowledge on basketball to commentate or analyze a game, it's not that easy as you think.

Anyways, I have more then one favourite announcers....here we go

TNT- Marv Fratello & Marv Albert (best on-screen chemistry)...If Kenny & Charles did play by play, it'd be sick as well.

NBA ON NBC/ABC- Doug Collins, Bill Walton (he's hilarious) & Steve 'Snapper' Jones.
I hate Tom Tolbert, Byron Scott and Doc Rivers, they do not know how to broadcast...

I think it's Kevin Harlem who said "Oooooooh I'm shakin in my chair!"...If so, he's sick.

Locally, I love Chuck Swirsky and Leo Rautins, they have great on-screen combo as well. Chuck is the super-biased Raptors fanatic with somewhat wierd but entertaining lines (ONIONS! ONIONS! MORE ONIONS FOR VINCENT LAMAR CARTER!) while Leo is the more calm, not-so-biased analysis guy.

I also cannot stand the King's commentator who keeps saying "If you don't like that, you don't like NBA basketball"

    Here's a short passage:

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Chick Hearn. The world's greatest basketball announcer. The machine gun that talks like a man. The guy who did more than any other to take pro basketball out of the drafty gyms in Peoria and Altoona and put it on prime time. </div>

The old MSG team was one helluva pair, Walt Frazier (Still there) and Marv Albert (Gone-I HATE YOU, DOLAN!) I love Fratello as well, so my favorites are Marv, Mike, and WALT!
