Xlnt, now with this Wham tune, its my sleeping placebo, and also my waking placebo too...Geez if only I could find a months supply of those Michaels Hot Pants, I'd really be styling....ah shit, LOLLLLL,
You dug up a classic one Tom... I had damned near forgot of this song. Now its going to haunt me in my nightmares. If so, I always got "Wake me up before you go girl" to sort myself back out..... Then I can club to the Frankie and others coke night club scenes, and use the other placebo to go to sleep.... a viscous cycle indeed. My sinuses are running with a numbing effect.....LMAO... now what would the night club scene of been without Boy George, maybe light years ahead, instead of the decades back he damn near put the Global Music industry into a Recession from hell.... I'm sure we could prob find more than one video with the eye-patch on opposing eyes? As far as pushing the boundaries tho' I don't think anyone did as much, but (key point), usher in a new genre of glitter rock, followed by some avant garde but actually damn good music for its era...."Ground control to Major Tom".....Would you believe I was the 1st young man in So. Cal, who got me a Bowie Haircut, dyed it Glow in the dark Orange, and honestly found a pair of six inch platform (heels), and a 3 inch sole. On Bowie's Diamond Dogs Tour, Ansyley Dunbar literally was wearing the very same pair of boots I had found, which were hand made in France. It blew my mind, and Yep, I still own those boots, only to lend them out to nephews who go to High School Throw back days/dances/parties. Those infamous boots, have allowed 2 brother in laws, and 3 nephews to win, the most original throw back outfit....and I thought it was only 10 years ago..... Sad tho' about Mick Ronson, dying of Liver Cancer in his early 40s, after leaving Bowie, to tour with Bob Dylan's Rolling Thunder Revue, where he was finally taken serious as more than an entertainer, but a true damn fine guitarist on his own....
http://www.mlbplatemusic.com/player/Dellin-Betances According to the link this is his plate music. Catchy ditty....
Well what it lacks in creativity of lyrics, I guess is not necessary, I kinda like this ditty, I'd dare to say the Yanx will be party spoilers when the new Yanx new Fireman enters.... Damn tho' what I'd give to hear it at YS....tho' I bet the Yanx would cut the lyrics, rather sections of the song, to remove the risque words, LMFAO..."I'm smoking weed in my mercedes"...."throwing money on her like she won the lotto, Pussy must be serious", "Doing it like Nikki go one n bend it over" Bwahhaha, what I'd give to see and hear this tune come on in Betances entry, half the crowd would put their parental hands over their kids ears. The others would be dancing, thinking shit its nothing my boy must of heard in Kindergarten.........
Tom no offense & there's no crime in being young of course but your taste in music leaves a lot to be desired. Again. no offense meant. Different strokes.
Rick....I'm pulling these songs from the athlete's playlists themselves. Not my music, its theirs. You want to understand kids today, you have to listen to their music...at least once.
Oh and Rob, I have a brilliant deal to pitch to JayZ. He needs to represent a closer and than write, compose & produce an iconic anthem. He'd bury Bora's in no time.
I would prefer THIS- the bullpen door opens, and Betances comes marching/walking out towards the mound to.... (the first 50 seconds) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-bzWSJG93P8
#2 You gotta' be kidding me? That's a pure #1 Gold Masterpiece. Must of been only played only in Harlen and De Bronx. South Central and East L.A. too, maybe Pacoima....? Should of been an International Hit, No doubt.....NOT...! LMAO.... Where ya' coming up with these tunes, must be your homey boy posse? You doing more than creating new drugs, or carrying round a unbreakable briefcase full of cartel roids? We gotta' get you to the Emerald City soon. This is more my speed these days......played on the show House, in 2011 one night, by morning 180. 000 peeps Googled who these two were....I see why, I had the CD a week later...: Not good Closer Music tho'.....How about "Hells Bells"??? Now this is more like it...: Yeah......Gong gong, the Sandman may be gone, but he left his Road Map, to His Highway to Hell.....this would make the classic Closer tune, your on a Highway to Hell,
Man I do like Jay-Z, some Eminem stuff to. Jay and Alicia did a masterful hair raising delivery of "Empire State Of Mind" a great motivational tune for Game 1 of the 09 Series. I"m sure Jay could come up with something good to bury Bor-ass. and have Sharpton crying in his latte....but then I don't think Al is a Yanx fan, figures too.....he's got to be a closet St. Louis fan.... NTM your right, in order to understand kids today, you have to embrace their culture just to get in for a peek. Not saying one has to like it, just look, sound like its the gravy on grits....! Got any Watermelon? OH, I mean Watermelon Wine... Here's much better sound of the same tune:
why not just play the Nutcracker Suite, or Pictures at an Exhibition??? If Betances enters to the SW tune.... This is more like it:
As old as I am, I just learned something new about that cliche. Sure we don't have to do nothing, but work, die, pay taxes, suffer and grieve too***. Some grievances tear one's heart forever, some get over loss, some can't, due to shredded hearts and minds, of those sooo important to one, to lose at all....especially when they pass way to young, to young to depart.... 1 wouldn't have to pay taxes if they didn't work, unless they're living off an inheritance or Trust. then they must pay taxes, without working. tho' IMO, ones life is their work, and ones work is their life, I see no sepeartion, tho' I spent half my career until I could leave work at work, and home at home, then all that went poof, on those Black Ops programs.....couldn't even mention what work my line of field was in, and sure as hell could not expose WHO i worked for. Yet I could come home and vent to KIm, on the Bullshit that happened on occasions.... Example. How could I forget, when one of the 4 Prototypes, converted in to USAF Flight Articles, had all 4, losing their IFE tape, over the seams of skin panels, and landed at Edwards AFB; with half the tape flying loose in the wind, in 15-30 foot sections. A nuermros revamp of Engineering to fix that LOA/RCS requirement which took the entire life of the program to fix, and re-engineer, so that issue went away. Nothing like seeing a B2 land with long strips of IFE tape, looking like it was a Honeymoon Vehicle..... Can't say how and what we fixed the prob with tho'.....and I seriously doubt they would let me post here, from Ft. Leavenworth Pen....!!!
