I'm glad he's off the market, he's essentially become Steve Blake with more attitude at this point of his career anyway.

LOL it's not like our GM has the desire to actually add a piece that isn't through the draft, and God forbid he has to trade someone for a piece.

I didn't want him at all. The guy makes Blake look like a lock down defender, and his shot can be streaky. When it's off he's worthless.

I had no interest in Bibby at this point in his career. None. Glad he is staying with the Hawks, as 1) that means the Blazers can't be temtped to do something really stupid like signing Bibby as some sort of consolation prize, 2) that takes one team off the market for PGs.

Sounds like he just killed Andre Miller's asking price of 10 million a year, how about Dre for the same price???

Sure, as long as you're talking about Philly signing him. I want nothing to do with Miller.

I would think Miller is worth more than Bibby. He does pretty much everything better except shoot three pointers, and he's two years younger.

Bibby signed for 3 years at $6 mil/year. That would seem to put Miller in the $7-8 mil/year area.

If we could get him at that price for a three year deal, I'd probably be ok with it. I'd definitely prefer that kind of a contract to what we offered Hedo.

You mean two years older. Miller's 33, Bibby is 31.

Atlanta outbid themselves to buy the crap sandwich that is Mike Bibby.

Blake is many, many times the player Bibby is now.

That explains why Bibby hung 27 (10-14 shooting) points on Blake last season while Steve scored 14 (1-7 3-point shooting).

My bad. Thanks. When you factor that in, maybe they are worth pretty similar deals.

Assuming, of course, Atlanta really paid Bibby what he was worth. If I were a Hawks fan, I wouldn't have wanted Bibby for that much.

Are you guys really arguing for Bibby? Seriously?

If you thought Blake a bad defender, you will shit yourselves with rage watching Bibby stand around watching the action on defense.

Bibby might get hot from time to time, but that's about it.

This is one of those times where the numbers lie.

Iwasn't arguing to get Bibby. We have Blake, and don't need anything else ever.
