I have one all time, long lasting image of Biden. Way back when the first assault weapons ban was being debated in the Senate. There is Joe, standing on the Senate floor making like he is holding a machine gun, both hands like he had an M60. Vocally making the machine gun sound, eh eh eh eh as he acts out mowing down his peers. My thought for that day was, What a fucking tool!!! Machine guns were not in the ban, all the guns targeted were semiautomatics. Machine guns had been dealt with way before this day. Medal of Freedom! Hell, that's not what the man has more than earned!
Do you remember his explanation about why people don't need an AR-15, and how to scare an intruder with a double-barrel shotgun by walking out onto your porch and firing both barrels into the air? The guy is a fucking moron when it comes to common sense.
There was someone here in Vancouver a year or two ago that tried that, and then told the police that Joe Biden told him to do it. They were not amused. And he was arrested. Not sure what happened to him though. It's just proof that you can't fix stupid.
You have to admit....it would have been an interesting argument... "Mr. Jones, why did you discharge your gun illegally?" "Well, Your Honor....the Vice President told me to."
Ha! Well, when I go into court, or any battle for that matter, I want to know how to win. I don't think that will do it.
Here's some actual history about Joe... He served an instrumental role in passing the bipartisan initiative to create a Commission on Civil Rights in 1983, to introducing the 1986 Global Climate Protection Act, to establishing an annual National Mammography Awareness Day, and to authoring the Rail Security Act of 2007 to regulate the transportation of hazardous materials on American railways, Senator Biden consistently works to tackle America's toughest challenges. Authored the Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act of 1994 2007 Biden Crime Bill Recently introduced the College Affordability and Creating Chances for Educational Success for Students (ACCESS) Act... He also authored legislation to help foreign countries address the threats of bioterrorism and nuclear or radiological ("dirty bombs") terrorism. And he sought to expand programs to destroy unsecured weapons of mass destruction and dangerous materials in the former Soviet Union and beyond. Visit his senate site and see. It's not a matter of opinion. It's all FACT. respect the good guys is my motto....Joe is one of them
That's funny....for all those accomplishments, he goes and says something as stupid as "fire a double barrel shotgun into the air twice to scare off an intruder". And he has the audacity to act arrogant and condescending about it. And people wonder why I don't listen to Democrats when it comes to anything related to guns.
First part is absolutely correct, but I think you got that second part wrong. If he didn't give a shit he wouldn't be so butt hurt about losing the popular vote. Good list. I predict you'll have lots more to add to it soon. barfo
I don't think he cares as much as the media is letting on about. Oh he made a stink about the popularity vote. So what? Hillary would have done the same if their roles were reversed. And I predict that I won't have much to add to it soon. I think he's perfectly capable of getting shit done. I should also clarify on something that I didn't go into detail on because I was trying to watch the game, and it only has to do with Russia: As much as I think he should distance himself from Putin, I also like the idea of both him and Putin wiping out ISIS in the Middle East, as long as they avoid civilian casualties. And I would rather hold my nose and support an alliance with Russia if it means avoiding a war with Russia over the Middle East. But I'm under no illusions about Putin: he's a dictator who was brought to power on the backs of criminals and the mafia. He puts the "corrupt" in "corruption". And I don't trust him at all.
..have you ever peaked at the quote book of the guy you voted for??? It makes his own party cringe and have to play apologist almost every time he has a sound bite.
Oh he's not PC. So what. If he can bring jobs here to the US and improve the economy, then I wipe my ass with what he says. That's not being apologist, that's looking at the bigger picture, and choosing not to be offended by mere words. More dumbasses are offended by the 2 minutes a day he spends on Twitter, than they are about his entire 16 hour work day. There's something wrong with that.
Those are called gaffe's. Trump hasn't even been in office yet and he's already made himself look like a fool so many times. This is a guy who routinely downplays revered people like John McCain and John Lewis' contributions to this country and calls everybody 'overrated'. Guy doesn't do 16 hour days. He doesn't even attend intelligence briefings.
I respect the hell out of both of those men and the contributions that they've made to this country. But don't fool yourself for one minute into believing that they are beyond reproach. McCain is as out of touch with Average Americans as is possible for anyone in the Republican party to be, and Lewis is as out of touch with everyone in his District as is possible to be as well. Not to mention his District IS a complete and total fuck up. It's an utter mess, and he hasn't addressed it with any meaningful contributions in years.
