More nonsense. He does respect them, but he's also not going to baby-talk the issues that they have both failed to address; McCain and Lewis alike. Now, if your argument is "well, he shouldn't be doing it on Twitter and should choose a couple of words more wisely", then I can agree with that to a point. But both those men need to address key issues, and they haven't. McCain is "party politics as usual", and Lewis hasn't done anything for Atlanta in years, and most black people there still live in poverty. They both have their faults, and they deserve to be scorned for them. We can still respect them while still holding them accountable for their failures.
You sure about that? Because it sounds like his district is actually doing fine: Georgia’s 5th State average National average Unemployment rate (2015) 8.2 percent 5.5 percent 5.0 percent Median household income (2015) $48,017 $49.620 $53,889 Poverty rate (2015) 17.3 percent 17.0 percent 13.5 percent Percent with high school degree (2015) 87.6 percent 85.4 percent 86.7 percent Percent with bachelor's degree 40. percent 28.8 percent 29.8 percent Atlanta, the heart of the district, is a major international transportation hub and one of the fastest growing places in the country. Forbes named the city the ninth best place in America for businesses and career development, and among the best for job growth and education. barfo
The FBI ranks Atlanta as the 2nd most dangerous city in America. St Louis is the only city in America that is more dangerous. Even your stats show it lags behind the rest of the country in anything that matters, most notably poverty and employment.
Holy fuck. Bullets dont just dissapear into the air. You shoot a gun in the air you can kill someone far away on accident. If you want to discharge your firearm illegally in city limits atleast be smart enough to point that shit at the ground.
Well said. But it was more than that bro... If an intruder is within sight, and you fire both barrels of your double-barrel shotgun to scare them away.... ....what the fuck are you gonna do with the shotgun? Hit them with it?
That's how everyone was raised when I was a kid. I have memories of hunting rats with homemade spears in the old garage behind the Texaco with older kids when I was 2-3 years old. Downtown LO was totally overrun with water rats back then. When I was 5 I walked 10 blocks to the Lake Theater every Saturday. Sometimes alone, sometimes with friends. Same with Newton's Ice Cream Shop, Ted's Toys. Piggly Wiggly, or hiking in Tryon Creek which was much larger, wilder, and not yet a park. The National Crime Rate was virtually the same then as it is now, but we weren't being programmed by our government to live in fear as we are today.
I have never found any reason to respect Joe Biden. His chief goals have always been to weaken America by diluting The Bill of Rights and The Constitution. To give him The Medal of Freedom is so farcical it erases the very purpose of the award.
here's where you lose me....hardly Joe's chief goals but supports your narrative....the first sentence really said it all..you don't respect him. I do.
To me it was just about the fact of two things: 1) Biden didn't actually DO anything for 8 years. Nothing. All he was good for was creepy photo ops with members of congress. 2) Obama gave him that award as a "participation trophy", and as a giant "fuck you" to America.
A fire arm is not an intimidation tactic. Theres laws about brandishing for a reason. If someone is breaking into your house and they start running. Throwing your double barrel dick out the door is brainless. You pull the trigger to kill. And you kill to save your life or anothers. Thats it. There's no other reason to shoot another human. If someone was running, id say your goals have been acomplished. No reason to chase or fire a weapon. I get what you are saying. His comment is just so wrong and retarded on so many levels.
You could not avoid finding it so I think you deliberately didn't look, as is your usual M.O.. I simply googled most dangerous cities in America. Nearly 5 times the national average. If you counted career criminal as an occupation Atlanta would have a 100% employment rate. Putting that education to good use. http://www.usnews.com/news/slideshows/the-11-most-dangerous-us-cities?slide=11
So do liberals really prefer double barrel shot guns being fired in their neghborbood for intimidation vs. Someone owning an ar-15 for sport shooting in an area where it is legal to discharge?
Yes. As I have always said: they lack logic and reason when it comes to firearms. They come from a belief that criminals should get shot in the leg like in the movies, and shooting a car will cause it to blow up. So of course they think that an AR-15 holds 100 rounds (Biden's words, not mine...) and can be emptied in 2 seconds flat. They much prefer some idiot having a double barrel shotgun firing randomly into the air, rather than an educated person with an AR-15 who knows what he's doing. That way, when the idiot with the shotgun fucks up, they can point to him and say "see! We need common sense gun laws!"
