    West Virginia downs UCONN, 78-72. Joe Alexander pretty much owned the game with 34 points, including a sick dunk at the end.

    Earl Clark is awesome. Louisville has regained the lead.

    Clark comes through again! What a game. Pitt with the ball. Game tied.

    Well they took care of Nova 82-63 in Game 1 of Day 2 thanks to 17 3 pointers (a Big East Tournament record)
    </div>

    Yes sir, watched and loved every second of it. I think a lot of people are sleeping on Georgetown this year, especially the national analysts. My man Jay Bilas gave them some props today though, saying that they have a "great chance" at making a Final Four run.

    Look, this team does not blow many teams out and they'll rarely ever dominate a game. However, they never go away, they are experienced, they are battle-tested, and they know how to close out close ballgames. They can get it done.

    Don't sleep on my Hoyas, people.

    Marquette is up 57-54 with 11:20 to go.

    Notre Dame has to get Harangody more involved if they want to win

    Marqutte has some ugly-ass jersey's. Also I would like to kick Crean out of the Tom Izzo Coaching Tree.

    Works for me. I prefer to ignore that he was an assistant under Izzo and just consider him a part of the Ralph Willard coaching tree. [IMG]

    After Marquette beat Notre Dame 89-79, Georgetown ended up being the only team with a bye to win today. This sets up an interesting Day 3.

    WVU vs Georgetown in a rematch of a the "should have been called goaltending" game

    Pitt vs Marquette in a rematch of a Marquette blowout in Levance Fields first game back

    James finally scores for Marquette and they're only down 6. Insane. Pitt needs to learn to shoot free throws.

    Gotta tip my hat to Pitt for a well-played game. They brought a ton of energy and made big plays down the stretch. Georgetown missed too many opportunities. I'm very disappointed, but I can take the loss. Congrats to Pitt.

    Let's hope Georgetown can redeem themselves in the big dance.
