    Here's what I was responding to:

    I know that doctors get kickbacks for prescribing certain drugs. That doesn't mean that they only prescribe drugs for which they get a kickback.

    In the rare instance where a generic drug is prescribed, maybe nobody. That's why generic drugs are rarely prescribed, and even then only if the patient requests generics.

    Legally, it's another piece of Obamacare that is vulnerable to court challenge.

    The penalty is clearly a discriminating and devastating financial tax above and beyond the insured's actual cost of health treatment.

    Non-smoking alcoholics (when they're not killing children with their cars or beating the shit out of their wives) outnumber smokers by a wide margin, and incur health costs that eclipse that of even the most dedicated smoker. To single out smokers and ignore drinkers is like legalizing murder while doling out the death sentence for jay-walkers.

    How about YOU provide one shred of evidence that generics are rarely prescribed, or how about some kind of evidence that kickbacks are the sole determining factor for what a doctor prescribes.
