Sad, sad times for Blazers, Blazers fans and basketball fans in general. One of the all time best personalities. Love him or hate him, he commanded ones attention with how he would present random facts and stories. I didn't always agree with him, but always loved listening to him. And then there is everything he did ON the court! Basketball has lost a legend and is worse off without him.
Man, these stories and pictures are hitting me right in the feels. I wish I could have watched him at his peak.
Glad you liked my design! Hopefully team can license the Dead marks—they were certainly a “Bill thing.”
That would be doable if Republicans would get back to just being conservatives and not religious nut cases who want to control your personal healthcare...
He said he loved his bike. They're keeping the type of cancer quiet, which often means cancer of the colon. Maybe it was the narrow bike seat. He rode all around his hometown. This statue of him in Ski Beach Park, San Diego needs a lot more hair.
Simmons with a really nice history leason on Walton's greatness and the 77 blazers. He's always been effusive in praise of that team. Throw it into ChatGPT if you are so busy).

I freaking hate walled gardens. This is an rss feed that will get you what you need on any podcatcher. Though great link and great find. https://feeds.megaphone.fm/the-bill-simmons-podcast
From column in San Francisco Chronicle: Walton's time passed, too. But, oh, what he did with it while he lived.
Had the pleasure of speaking with him twice. Right after I got this picture, Wheels (who you can see in the back) and Rice introduced me to him and I got to sit in on their bull session. What an honor.
