The fact that a bike is included really does make it perfect for Portland.

    That's a great idea.

Come on Paul, buy me that and put it in the Rose Quarter.

Needs a tie-dyed shirt and a doobie, and should have an internal 24/7 Dead music system.

Would other more deserving players want a statue too?

Jerome Kersey deserves a statue in the Rose Quarter.

I would think it belongs right in front of the entrance to the Rose Garden.

However, my favorite image of Walton is from my memory of him visiting my Pop Warner football team practice in his early days with the Blazers.
He drove his Datsun right up to the field and unfolded out of that thing, driving it sitting in the back seat with the front seat removed.
The boys on the team were mesmerized watching this Big Red Headed guy, he was really big in more than hight in that day.

Place the statue next to the Paul Bunyan statue.
    This pairing provides political balance.
Plus Bill Walton will make Paul Bunyan’s beard look good.

If it truly is a Walton statue then it will start gesturing with its arms wildly and telling passersby about the woder of Pauley Pavillion.

There are no other more deserving players. Walton lead us to our one and only championship. He literally symbolized that championship, in his playoff performances, in the videos of him taking off his shirt, in the parade....

We should hire a sculptor to make one of Clyde. But one day we'd all wake up and find it in front of the Toyota Center.

They should just donate it to the Oregon Country Fair or mount it on Kesey's old bus as a hood ornament

I find it funny Wook hates Walton but loves the guy that wanted to be the "greatest Blazer ever" and then left.

Who's more deserving than the only player in franchise history to lead us to a title?

There is a pretty good chance that if they put audio of him telling stories and charged people to listen that I would pay for that every time I was in Portland.
