I like going around in the afternoon or early evening. I like a little hustle and bustle and christmas decorations at the mall....plus I only visit for the weekend for some tax free shopping!

I'll probably be staying in downtown portland on friday night, usually do, catch a bit of the tree ceremony and then hit the town....I've got a few things to buy. Going to hit up the Tanner Goods leather store and probably the Lizard Lounge for some clothes and leather goods for myself. might look to get a patagonia nano puff sweater or something like that, so probably hit the portland outdoor store. portland luggage perhaps as well or the filson store, looking for a deal on a suitcase.

mainly buying for myself. i buy christmas presents online.

Too bad you don't live in Boise. I could recommend a couple of different photographers who'd be happy to drop by your house or a nearby park and shoot some snaps. They'd look less corny and they'd capture you in a relaxed environment. It'd probably cost more, but if it were me I'd pay a $200 premium just to avoid the mall.

Change of plans. We're now paying $250 for a photographer. Instead of the mall, we're going 30 minutes away, though.

    Shoot me now...

Who did you get? Just curious cause I know of a few Seattle photographers (chances are I won't know them though)
