The Chicago Blackhawks announced today that they have agreed to terms with defenseman Ryan Stanton on a one-year contract. Stanton, 23, made his National Hockey League debut with Chicago on April 27 at St. Louis, recording a +1 plus/minus rating and two penalty minutes. He registered a career-high 22 assists and 25 points in 73 regular-season games with the American Hockey League’s Rockford IceHogs in 2012-13 and ranked third on the club with a career-best +16 rating.
