Chicago Blackhawks forward Michal Handzus needed surgeries to repair injuries to his wrist and knee but said Friday he expects to be ready for training camp. "I had two surgeries but I'm healing and it's coming along" Handzus told ESPNChicago.com.."Right now wrist I still can't do anything. It's in a cast for one more week. After four weeks I'm going to start to do something. It's a little bit slower. My knee it's pretty much I'm rehabbing right now." Handzus was acquired by the Blackhawks from the San Jose Sharks prior to the NHL Trade Deadline. He had three goals and eight assists in 23 Stanley Cup Playoff games. The report says he played with a broken wrist and torn MCL during the Final which the Blackhawks won against the Boston Bruins. - See more at: http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=679009
