Well written article CC....I disagree with the slant but that's all good.. I think it's really easy to be a fan of the team. I don't expect a championship this season...I didn't expect the third seed...that's what's great about this season. I think the team doesn't deserve fans who boo them.....not that the fans deserve a better team..we're not stacked with top shelf talent as constructed but we've beat the best of the best...it was fun watching it.

Long time reader of the forum. This is my first post. I have been a Blazer fan since year one. I almost quit watching basketball altogether during the jailblazer era. It was not just the Blazers though, it was the entire NBA, we just seemed to have the cream of the crop so to speak. Brandon Roy brought me back (God he was beautiful to watch when he was healthy) I still think that playoff game 4 comeback against the Rockets in the 4th quarter was one of the most epic moments in all of sports especially when you know how much pain he had to have been in and knowing that it was the last time he ever performed like that. I never liked lamucus I thought he was soft (I refuse to capitalize that POS) and did more disappearing then Batoon. I am so glad that Wes got the contract he did. I think he absolutely deserved it after playing with those 2. That team had so much talent and did absolutely nothing with it except take PA's money I hope their dogs get herpes from a cat (Batoon and lamucus that is) Love the post BTW I think I may have played basketball against you, well at least the same kinda games. This team is borderline good with a lot of heart which gets us better then mediocre which allows us to compete with the big boys and makes up for the lack of talent. I fully expected us to win the first series and we may still, I think the Pelicans are playing way above their heads and I do not believe they can sustain it, Tonight will be the telling factor. Lillard has never disappeared in the Playoffs like our so called superstar in lamucus and Batoon did. I think we are going to make a statement tonight if we don't we might as well play our bench in game 4. Lets be honest here, no one on this forum actually expected to get to the finals this year but I think we all had hopes after the amazing run we had after the all star break to go deep into the playoff race. Do we deserve a championship ? You dam rights we do just probably not this year but I would not be opposed to having 2 at the end of next year. COME ON BLAZERS PULL YOUR HEAD OUT OF YOUR THIRD POINT OF CONTACT AND WIN THIS SERIES !!!

Youngest team is somewhat misleading. They just song have that one veteran on the bench. I believe Davis, Holiday and Mirotic are all younger than Dame/CJ/Aminu.
Dame’s 27, McCollum is 26 and Chief is 27. Holiday and Mirotic are 27 and Davis is 25. Not sure why you include Aminu in your comparison since he’s hardly a key component in the Blazers’ future. I guess it’s because if you use Nurkic or Collins your point falls apart?
