I like this idea OB, and if SPD's data is correct, I think that's a pretty good deal. Do we need commitment from 30 people?

The VM I got this morning( I havent had a chance to call back) Did not specify a min or max.

Sly, the lady who called me said there were menu options with different themes, so to speak. DO you know what the free food for the $40 consists of? If its chips and hot dogs, maybe we want to up the price for a bit better menu option?
I know I plan on feasting myself... lol

here is where I got that from - http://www.ilovebigals.com/parties/skybox

And for $40 we only get one free beer. For food it says, "Your Choice of a Premium Buffet"

I'm not crazy on the idea, but I'd be down. I'm in Montavilla, so I'd jump on the east side carpool.

Sly's link says there is a minimum amount of people to get the eagle package at the skybox but it doesn't specify what that minimum is so you guys would need to find out. If it is 40 or more people then it doesn't sound doable for you all.

Would we be able to actually hear the tv, or would we be stuck listening to really loud, really shitty music?

Yeah but you guys have more than enough time to give each other handys. Troutdale to. Beavis town would barely get me warmed up.

If that's it, count me out. I hate places like that.

OKay... A private room with a min of 12 people (max is whatever we want) with a big screen tv and private bowling lanes for 2 hours, and buffet will start at $30 per person for 3 hours. There is a 20% gratuity added to the top. This does not include drinks.
I am waiting on an email that has the buffet options (varying prices)

This private area is called Slider alley. This is the same thing Ive been to. Its VERY cool. Lounge couches, tables, big screen tv, room to eat, plus 3-5 bowling lanes, completely private to us with walls on each side and everything.

some buffet packages come with a fun card that can be used for free games or drinks. As soon as I get that I will post it so we can figure this shit out. I think this will be really fun and affordable for everyone though.

Keep in mind we'd be in a bar inside a bar, essentially closed off from most of, if not all, the noise. I seem to remember when they did the Season Ticket Holder party there a few years back, they were using the skybox as sort of a break room for the players, staff, and big money sponsors. I snuck a peek a couple of times and it seemed to be quite insulated from the surrounding chaos.

Can we get it without the bowling lanes?

    Okay, here are the options....

I think the $50 option is the best. That gives each person a $20 fun card that can be used for games OR drinks....

Im in it for $100 and if KJ is still in it for $100, that means that the price will be a little less than $50 per person, all depending on how many go.

    Whos down???
Ill foot the reservation and bill and collect the night of.
There is a 30 day cancellation notice, so worst case we could cancel if the shit hits the fan or something. Otherwise im down for this. Anyone else? ONly need 12 technically.

    Starting a new list. :)

Just remember that these places charge a gratuity for groups (looks like 20% for this place) which isn't a huge deal but something to be aware of. Have fun guys, wish I could make it but have to sit this one out.

The Season Schedule is almost out.

How many people would be interested in chipping in for a suite to a game this year?
Id like to get a prelim head count before spending too much time on this. :)

If you are interested, please note any potential restrictions you might have: I work evenings on Tuesday. Cant do Sundays, ETC.

Lat year when @SlyPokerDog was able to get us a suite, it was one of the highlights of the year for most of us members and I think we should try to make it a tradition. S2 gets a suite every year. That way some people who couldn't make it last year, can make this year.

If this is indeed something many people want to start doing, we can keep a running tally of who has gone when, so we make sure over time, everyone has an opportunity.
