He plays tough inside, strong shot blocker, a bit of a mean steak on the court. But he also has excellent range and touch on his jump shot. A true inside-outside two-way player. What more could you want in a Stotts Power Forward?
I don't watch any college hoops. Watched Collins highlights. PF in NBA? Or stretch 5? He's fucking skinny. Freshman so he'll fill out I get it. Does the board like him? I'm feeling Meyers-y about this probably because he's white lol. Appears to have a solid post game though which is the antithesis of Meyers.
I feel the same way..skeptical. But I didnt pay attention to him in college, just a higher miss rate on white guys lets face it.
Last time two mid firsts were traded into the lottery was when Chicago traded 16 and 19 for 11. That was Nurkic and Gary Harris for McDermott.
Don't buy that at all. #5 picks are supposed to be very good to all-star calilbur, #15 and #20, you just hope you get someone who contributes in the rotation. The majority of guys taken in that range don't amount to much. That might be true in the NFL but not the NBA.
That's where he first caught my eye, look at his production, then I watched him play and he was very impressive, good shooter, can score inside, plays with toughness and fire.
A guy who I think will play VERY WELL off of Dame/CJ/Nurk. He won't be asked to carry the team or be a start but to be a solid contributor. Now how is out? Nurk/Vonleh/Collins/Davis/Leonard is a lot at the 4/5 especially when Aminu plays there so much.
Some people here wanted to "give everything" for KP. Zach Collins will be better than KP, mark my words.
