You should at least ask for a juice box and fruit rollup for each post you make.

It sounded to me like it's a 4 year deal instead of 10. Not sure about the opt out.

Comcast has everyone by the balls. They forced themselves back into this deal by threatening to drop Root sports if the Blazers went with them. This company is criminal, and belongs behind bars along with the rest of the criminals.

I paid $199 for NBA LP last season. Vue is $30/month. You get 7 months for about the price I paid for NBALP, and you get all the other channels on top of the games. The regular season is about 6 months long, so Vue is a better deal at $180 than NBALP.

I never got the sense the Blazers were about profit. They do use the money they make to run the team and make the stadium improvements, etc.

This is pretty common now guys. Take a look at the Yankees and Dodgers TV deal issues. I'm just sad because getting rid of the KGW option f-cks over the the casual fans who's interest has waned over the years. A lot of people get Direct TV and just go elsewhere to watch the game. It's less and they are not going to change. But really just a terrible offseaon..... I am going to say goodbye to the NBA for a while. This league is becoming comical.

My bet is there will be more Golden State dabs than Blazer fans at Moda pretty soon. At least in a few years, count on it.

I was gonna cut the cord and resign myself to not watching the few national and kgw games but thought I'd wait and see how things played out. Waits over, I'm calling Dish when I get home. I'll just pick up Vue for the Roku and I'm good. Plus saving $70 a month. The only other option here is Charter.

nah...that won't ever happen...they'll just be like the Lakers used to be and have fans speckled everywhere but I have faith in the Portland fans...hang in there dude...the chaos will pass.

Damnitt! PA needs to read "The Art of the Deal". Or send some people to school. This is worse than it was for 10 friggin years. We at least got some games on KGW
    now nothing.

Why hell are the Blazers so fucking timid? Dumb even. The Warriors can negotiate a contract with Comcast that includes Dish and Directv at the basic package prize and the friggin Blazers sign and hope they do it. That is plain simple ignorant.

I can not see an advantage for the Blazers in negotiating such a weak friggin deal, so that leaves but one source of the problem , dullards on the job.

It's really not hard at all.. It's pretty much the exact same as turning on your TV and cable box or whatever and going to the right channel.
