no way roland toad made it as high as he did. he could not coach a video game I was in the first grade and I was at the game screaming fire his dumb ass(well not in those words dad would have fired my ass)
Coaches get fired or not usually based on the expectations. If you take a team to the Finals twice and lose people think the talent is there but they can’t get over the hump. Adelman, Dwayne Casey type firings. Nobody can remotely with a straight face say Stotts has a team that is underachieving. In the first round last year, absolutely. Terrible. But the body of work has been good. And I don’t think anyone is “jump on a grenade” loyal to him. I just don’t think he’s a bad coach and there’s only a very select few coaches who are difference makers in this league.
Like spring board diving you get point by the degree of difficulty of the dive. Stotts degree of difficulty is like multi times tougher than say Steve Kerr's. So right now as the season is heading down the back stretch Id give Stotts a 8 and Kerr a 3 or 4. Id give Brad Stevens a 5/6.
You should delay until the current furor dies down. In the 60s the Beatles used to try to space their hits apart, but sometimes couldn't, and they'd have more than one song in the top 10, and we'd go crazy. You don't want to wind up like the Beatles.
I wouldn't mind winding up as Paul McCartney or Ringo at my age..they're livin' the life..Ringo gets to tour with Joe Walsh, David Gilmore, all kinds of old rock stars..and seems to be having a blast doing it....my favorite Beatle was George but we know how that ended
Man, is Riverman a negative thinker. I was thinking of the 60s. I meant, "You don't want to have it made, do you?" It was praising Craig for having hits close together, but never mind, it's not worth explaining. But now I will. The previous sentence's "Man is Riverman a negative thinker," is a Buddhist-like riddle contradicting conventional wisdom. The previous sentence's introduction of Buddhism into Riverman's life experience only now, contradicts what he's told us of his biography. This is all an enigma within a quandary aimed at Riverman. Chris, don't even try.
The Tao is the Tao....be like water...negative ions are worth the experience! I guess I mistook "end up like" as a lifetime, not when they went from mono to stereo but the Tao says...nobody will get my jokes today...the aquarian month always mellows me out..funny though, yesterday I was building a new chicken coop next to my garden and three little old silver haired Christain ladies drove down my driveway to save my soul...I l.told them I was Buddhist....but I'm actually religiously unattached, a free agent..playing the field...jumpstarting that second childhood
Because he coached a team of scrubs and two future All-Stars to drastically over-achieve and reached the playoffs two or three years before anyone had any right to expect them to do so...
I think of you as one of my family's ivory Buddhas. We learned living in Japan that for good luck, you rub Buddha's shirtless fat stomach.
Roy was an all NBA performer, not a future allstar Andre Miller Wes Matthews Joel Steve Blake Oden, part time Outlaw Webster Batum etc Solid role players. Most uninventive coach I've ever seen. Batum left because....and I quote, he was tired of standing in a corner
