I may not be a trained medical professional, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night!

Unlike most people who suffer from this kind of injury, Nurk is getting seen by a medical professional daily, if not more often. We have to trust the Blazers' medical staff to get him into games as quick as reasonably possible.

I bet if it were already the playoffs, and the series were competitive, that they'd let him play limited minutes. This is definitely a "let it heal now before the playoffs so he can play at full pace" sort of a deal.

So it's kinda of like a micro fracture...

    I feel so much better.

I actually had this same injury last September. It felt like I hit my funny bone for a month. My doctor told me I could walk on it, but to avoid high impact exercise for a couple of weeks. It's more annoying than painful or debilitating.

Sucks about the big guy. But this is really a minor thing and Nurk will be fine. He'll be back to 100% in no time. Now, back to exercising my free speech... I'm glad it wasn't Nurk's knee. Lord knows we've had enough problems with injury prone centers. But, Nurk's knee is fine, and going forward, there is nothing to suggest Nurk's knee is injury prone.

Fuck curses and jinxes. I don't believe in them. Whatever is going to happen will happen no matter what we post or what we do. It wasn't me who brought up Nurk's knee before, but no one is gonna tell me what I can and can't post while within forum rules.

Trust the Blazers medical staff? I will just say that history is not on your side.

Paul Allen has a hundred projects going. He hires a manager for each one. He doesn't have time to micro-manage.

If he is unable to play of reinjures himself we are done. The Utah game proved that.

Yes he hired managers but that doesn't mean he stops giving his input on stuff. You do know that Allen attends a ton of home games and sits right next to NO for a lot of them. They talk to each other lol

Yes, but all his other projects, like the one you linked, are intended to help the Blazers. You don't think the end goal of the stem cell research is to repair future Blazer knee injuries?
