While complaining about non-issues feels great and is also a super fun read, they (Shaedon & Scoot) were 3rd and 5th on the team in minutes played this past season. Not to bore posters with relevant facts, but of guys who went in the top 1o in Shaedon's draft, only 2 played more minutes this past season. For Scoot's draft, only 3 who went in the top 1o played more minutes. Maybe it's just me, but I think the two 21 year old Blazers are coming along just fine and I'm excited to see what they do next year when I expect they'll have bigger roles. STOMP
Howcome there is no thread soliciting the members of this online forum if they want to combine resources to buy the team?
Just one reason mainly, I don’t trust Adam Silver no matter what he says lol. I know it’s unlikely but if you’re a Seattle fan you never would have thought it would happen too.
This right here! Now I can understand the thought that CB doesn’t play Scoot more but I think Scoot will get his chance to shine quite soon. Year 3 is an important year for lots of NBA players who take a leap, Avijia, Sharpe, just some examples. as for Sharpe, that’s silly to say imo. Sharpe continued to grow in year 3, his usage was the highest so far is any of his seasons, he is developing fine under Billups. Billups even tried to send a message to Sharpe to get better defensively during a stretch he benched him. Which I am completely fine with, that’s called coaching and holding a player to a higher level becusse they see the potential imo.
Curious WHO is the richest forum member here. I know that I was told about this online world by Kevin Pritchard and I helped CJ make an account once…. Gotta be those guys right? If not them I’m guessing @SlyPokerDog ! Hold on Demurs is on here and I KNOW he’s loaded!
Maybe thats just an AI article aggregating the value of the Spurs or something. This article says the new Spurs arena will be $1.5 billion https://www.ksat.com/news/local/202...a-larger-funding-plan-still-being-worked-out/ Yeah I thought the Spurs arena was newer but wiki says 2002 for a cost of only $175 million. Thats actually cheaper than their prior arena the alamodome built in 1993 for $186 million.
Oof. While I think it's be awesome to see a new arena in Portland proper, it's hard to justify 3 of them here, with realistically 1 pro team. Maybe the city could encourage an NHL team to come in once a new stadium is built, with a sweetheart deal. Hah, who am I kidding. The NHL is gonna try cities that failed at having a team before coming here
Just makes me think the new blazers owner will probably cry about wanting a new arena with the perfect time on the lease running out being 5 years.
Bro, we all say that after @Strenuus finished the ol' reacharound. Come back in a few hours and see if you are still that happy.
