I wonder who TB would have taken, Greg or Kevin.

Knowing Bob, we never would have gotten the #1 pick. He liked vets and we never would have fallen that low in the standings. If we had gotten the #1, I could see him dealing the pick for an established star. He would have taken the deal to send the #1 for Carmelo or something like that.

With that said, I could see him taking Durant.

Switching teams and being interviewed is 2 different things.

But, we can start that list with Howard Peppernickel for the Atlantic City Bumbershoots in 1954.

Bob liked established talent, regardless of ego or attitude. Carmelo would have been right up his alley.

Prob right. So...let's revisit that David Morway idea.

Kidding. I think if Bob was to come back, he would need Larry's position as well. And Allen would prob need a bunker.

With less money to spend, Bob would revert to how he built the Sonics, where he was even more successful than here.

Bob could rebuild this team, and fast, but it wouldn't be the cute and snuggly team that everyone was so happy about a few years ago.

I agree again with JP. I think he could do it WITHOUT the blank check. But I would need him to put a greater focus on character this time around. I loved the process he went through when he drafted Outlaw when he was on his way out. I think he did more background checks on him than he prob did on all his previous picks combined.

It just means his track record looks great, but I have no idea how much control he actually had. That's all

Fucking rad post. Seriously, I love it.

That being said, bring back Trader Bob. There's nothing really wrong with the guys we're looking at, but there's nothing really right, either.

It's really just one guy... and that's his schtick. You can't take that away from him.

Damn, I completely forgot about him. I think his grandson is playing in the D-League now.

If you're referring to me, it's not my schtick in Bob's corpse.

I just think he's more alive and has more to offer than some of the stiffs we're looking at.

You've got a long way to go before you can take over as Bob's #1 fan on this board. Jlprk has you beat by a longshot.
