    It's totally his fault :devilwink:

You know, Shaq had the advantage of people who were willing to pass him the ball in Orlando. Penny Hardaway was great at getting Shaq the ball. Where is our Penny? Roy is terrible at finding Oden, and he's our best penetrator. :sigh:

    Robot Blazers Fan checking in.

It's just one half. We probably won't win this, because 20 point comebacks aren't very common, but sometimes these games happen. Durant has been the best player on the floor and we just haven't had any execution at either end of the floor... whether it's because of bad coaching or poor effort or just the team being young and incapable of consistency I don't know.

It's going to be OK either way. Don't let one half or one game get you down.

    :)

We can still make a come back, guys. Of course the chances are slim, but don't give up! Perhaps we will actually play some D in the 2nd half.

How the eff does Holton say we're going to LMA on the block in the 2nd half b/c he has a "decided advantage against the smaller OKC team".

Um, Joel and Oden are bigger. They're a combined 1-2 with 5 boards in...wait for it...15 TOTAL MINUTES played.

Outlaw's playing well on the offensive end, and showed flashes of good D.

The comeback is inconsequential at this point. McMillain is being outcoached by the worst team in the league.

I wish I was a fly on the wall in the locker room just to see what it was like in there. Anyone show any emotion or care that they're getting whooped?

It's funny how emotional people get around here. Nate has shown a great ability in making half-time adjustments this season. I wouldn't be surprised if Portland had won more games than it lost when losing at the half. Anybody have the stats?

Wasn't this the case last year when we always had to come back from 20 points down every game down the stretch?

Anybody else hoping we lose by forty tonight, just so KP will maybe see that there are some serious holes with this team defensively and maybe, just maybe stop using cake baking metaphors and go ahead and get a legit veteran stopper at either the point guard or small forward position?

And man I can't believe I'm saying this, cause I've been a pretty consistent Nate supporter (well I can because it is in the heat of the moment) but I can't believe this is the coach who was responsible for creating Team USA's defensive scheme yet he can't get these guys to play any fucking defense ... it's wearing pretty thin.

If we get blown out tonight, do you think this will prompt a trade by KP? 2 comebacks of 20 points on the same road trip sounds implausible.

Giving Oden the ball and attacking the rim against OKC shouldn't have to be a halftime adjustment.

i'm not down. blazers have not been playing well lately, came out flat and very tired-looking and are getting outhustled and settling for a lot of lazy shots that aren't falling. OKC is fired up and playing as well as most playoff teams lately. we have some adjustments to make (nate!) but otherwise this outcome isn't particularly surprising or disturbing.

Portland was the worst team in the league two years ago. The Thunder have a very good coach and some very good players.

No. I really think he's even-tempered and won't let a bad game, or week, or even MONTH make a trade that he otherwise would not have.

At least I hope that's the case.

I'm not a "let it bake" guy by any stretch, but I don't want an emotional GM.

You must be blind if you don't see why Blazer fans are pissed. It isn't that we're losing, it's the way we are losing. The coaching has been down right atrocious.
