He didn't beat us at the end of regulation. James is a good enough passer that if you double-team him he'll kill you. All you can do is force him into tough shots. I think that Outlaw and the Blazers did that, for the most part, and you just have to tip your hat to him for hitting some nice (contested) running hook shots... Ed O.
ROFL. That backboard turnover pass by Mo Williams gave the Cavs 2 turnovers for the game, tying the record for least TOs in a game. However, if he had just held on the the ball, they would have beaten the record.
Why didnt we switch Outlaw off of Lebron? At least the one time when Roy was on him he had to work for his hook shot.
Good game tonight. I don't feel bad about how the Blazers played tonight. IMO, there is no question about who is the best player in the NBA. LJ is a few notches above Kobe and the others.
Aldridge would have given us the consistent scorer we needed in the first half. The Cavs got us on the 4th game in 5 nights, missing two starters, at home and it still took a BS travelling call late to help them get to OT.
Man, I know Roy tried to get a 3 of at the end. Too bad he was on the line. You just knew going into OT was gonna be a killer for us. A win would've been great, but this is about as good of a loss that you can get. Im really satisfied with the way we played tonight down 2 starter, coming of a back to back and on national tv. Only a win would've made this better.
When he said Rodriguez shoots.. I almost flipped wondering why he was in.. then I noticed it was an error.
what the fuck frye chucking up that long 3 that had no hope at the end.... and why the hell was he in on OT?
I can't be too upset with the outcome tonight. We didn't play well, but our defense was good, and we never gave up. I think it's safe to assume Nate told the guys to go for the win at the end of regulation, and I love the call. It's too bad Roy was a half step inside the line or else we would have won it without having to go to OT. Lets take care of business on Saturday!
Maybe if we play like this more often on the road, HCA isn't 100% needed for us to advance past the first round.
lol I agree. The other day my 8 year old brother was asking who the worst player in the nba was.. I had to say Frye Even though thats not true sometimes I wonder...
I'm tired of his crappy rebounding skills. It's like his hands have the same magnetic polarization as the basketball, repelling the ball away whenever a rebound comes within his grasp. That's the most annoying thing that I notice about Frye each game. There's always one to three instances where a ball comes off the hoop and is right there in front of his face or above his head, and Frye either fumbles it or lets the other team outhustle him. If it was Greg or Joel in those situations, the ball would've been secured, but with Frye, it's like he's waiting for the ball to jump into his hands.
I know but the way it goes in there.. about half the people honestly expect to go 82-0 and any loss is Nate's fault. But there are some really cool people in there as well.
