what a dissapointing last two minutes. Two HUGE BAD calls by the refs pretty much cost us the game.

Shocker of a game from LA.

Needs to take a long hard look at his commitment, and intensity.

Yeah, and Brandon didn't play well. 9-25 and he missed some good looks. He's almost got to play great every night (especially when we play good teams) for us to win.

I just hope we aren't gassed for tomorrow night's game in Milwaukee. They are 8-3 at home and it's not the greatest matchup for us even when we are rested. Lightning fast PG's tend to reek havoc against us, and we'll have tired legs chasing Jennings around.

Everyone says we need more easy baskets so what does Blake do? He stops shooting (after the first couple minutes) and starts setting his teammates up for easy baskets. Drives and dishes. Alley oops. Fastbreak. Blake had his hands on almost all of our easy scores. It wasn't a masterpiece but it wasn't a disaster.

Aldridge had 2 boards, Howard had 1. Sideshow Bob burned them over and over and over and over...

Joel, who watched the last 6 minutes from the bench with 2 fouls to burn, had 11 boards and all 3 of the team's blocks.

Dean, WTF were you thinking? This was a game the coach gave away, pure and simple.

I think LMA just feels rushed. He needs to slow down, take it easy. He has an advantage over everyone he plays.

For once Maris - I agree with you. Lebron and Verejao get way too many easy baskets down the stretch. Remember the game two years ago at home vs Cleveland? UP 1 point, less than 10 seconds left, and Nate takes Joel out of the game. Lebron drives right to the basket for the (game winning) lay-up. You can't let him/them do that.

That sounds like OJ Mayo getting into Roy's head. It worked so well, it lasted for several more games. OJ punked Roy. Nice.

Absolutely. That was the feeling I had as I exited the arena. Lots of heart, great effort, but the talent is just not there.

Our bench is paltry, and our rebounding/ interior D is pathetic (especially w/o Joel in there).

I have no problem with how the team played last night, I thought they played pretty well even though they came out with an L.

It cracked me up that Martell came out with the 13 pt quarter after I said he didn't belong in the NBA. The 3 quarters following continued to support my hypothesis. You are paid to make open shots. Make them. :tsktsk:

Is it me, or as this stint without Nate goes on, is the team taking on more of the intensity of Dean Demopolis? I liked a lot of what was going on last night, but I thinkt the team with the roster as is, just has not jelled enough yet, but showed signs of starting to feel comfortable with their rotation. We actually ran a little last night. It didn't all turn out well, but they tried.

The play at the end of the half where they gave Bayless the ball and he covered the whole court and got fouled with about a second left on the clock shows all the things that he can do that other guards on the team can't. Speed. Finish. Get contact.

We've gone into LMA on every possession but people like MM claim we never do that.
